Why Guests Notice the Difference

Infrared heating is perceived differently from convective heating — guests feel warmer at lower air temperatures, notice no noise, no dust, and no dry-air discomfort.

Completely silent

No fan, no pump, no thermostat click. The SunWave Ceramica operates in total silence. Guests sleeping light in mountain chalets and city hotels notice the absence of mechanical noise — especially during the night setback cycle when conventional heating systems click on and off.

No dust circulation

Convective heaters and fan coil units circulate air and with it, dust, allergens, and particles. Infrared heating does not move air. Room occupants with dust sensitivity, hay fever, or asthma experience noticeably cleaner air. Fraunhofer WKI measured TVOC emissions of just 0.043 mg/m³ — far below regulatory limits, with no carcinogenic compounds detected.

Instant warmth — no wait time

Infrared radiation warms surfaces and occupants directly, within seconds of the panel starting. There is no "warm-up" period waiting for hot water to circulate or air to heat. Guests entering a cold room feel warmth immediately — even before the air temperature has fully recovered.

Comfortable humidity levels

Convective heating dries the air, leading to the parched-throat feeling guests associate with hotel rooms. Infrared heating warms surfaces without significantly affecting relative humidity. Guests consistently report more comfortable air quality in infrared-heated rooms.
